Calm is LiftX’s digital compliance platform designed to simplify and automate LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) inspection management.

Traditionally, managing lift inspections involves chasing insurance reports, forwarding PDFs to contractors, tracking defect resolutions by hand, and relying on calendar reminders to avoid overdue inspections. Calm replaces this fragmented, error-prone process with an intelligent central system that does the work for you.

How It Works: The User Journey

Step 1

Inspection Uploaded

Once your lift is inspected, the LOLER report is uploaded into CALM — no need to retrieve it from external portals.

Dashboard Update

The system instantly reflects your current compliance status via a traffic-light dashboard (green = compliant, amber = approaching expiry, red = action required).

Step 3

Contractor Notification

If any defects are raised, Calm sends an automated email to the relevant contractor with a full breakdown of what needs resolving.

Step 4

Client Monitoring

You and your team can log in at any time to see the real-time status of all lifts — including which issues are pending, who’s responsible, and how long they’ve been outstanding.

Step 5

Expiry Alerts

As your inspection dates approach expiry, Calm sends proactive reminders so that new inspections can be scheduled in good time, avoiding any risk of non-compliance.
